Isle is a city in Mille Lacs County. The city was named for the island near its harbor on Mille Lacs Lake. It is locally known as the “Walleye capitol of the world” because of its position on the southeastern shore of Mille Lacs Lake. MN highway 27 and MN highway 47 are two main routes in the community.
